CD Design Case Study: European Academy of Business in Society (EABIS)
The Challenge
The European Academy of Business in Society (EABIS) needed a dynamic, interactive, brochure cd rom to promote its' "Mainstreaming Corporate Responsibility" project, a collaboration between EABIS, INSEAD, and the London Business School. The cd rom needed to include an 11 minute video, link to various pdf file case studies, and include detailed information about the project and links to various sponsors and resources. EABIS approached Charlotte's Web Studios for help to design, develop, and program the interactive cd rom.
The CWS Solution
Charlotte's Web Studios worked closely with EABIS staff to create a modern and user friendly interactive cd rom presentation. Using colors that complement those of the corresponding book, the CWS cd design solution included an animated introduction, design and creation of the cd rom graphical user interface, programming to download and view the case study pdfs and interview video, and creating links to numerous online resources and websites. CWS also edited the EABIS video and converted it to Flash video format to optimize it's playback on the cd rom. The cd was created in and programmed using Adobe Director.
